Our goal is to offer unique quality artisan merchandise at fair prices, made by people given a living wage for their work. We’re a boutique - and search for unusual items, some handmade by a people – not robots or something that rides down a conveyor belt by the hundreds, is shrink-wrapped and distributed via a semi-tractor truck.
We believe in giving back in various ways to support the earth, its people and animals. We carry many sustainable products and support vendors who also embrace the same passions. From saving the bees, contributing to stopping human trafficking to supporting our Veterans, protecting animals and the environment, we salute those who are willing to shop thoughtfully to do so. I'm Susan, a Danville, Illinois native who has returned home after mere 40 years away and my passion for glass is what started all of this whole gift shop idea.
We specialize in unique merchandise and are partial to sustainable goods. From recycled glass and paper to repurposed items, you’ll find a wide variety of options.
My family has been unable to escape the vortex of my glass obsession from sucking them in - in one way or another. My husband, son and daughter all support me in one way or another and I greatly appreciate their help. My husband handles the money, advertising and physical labor, I get to do the fun stuff...
A couple of our dogs are typically at the shop, behind the counter, the other stays home and helps hubby with all the math...
STORE POLICIES
RETURNS
We're a small business and accept returns within two weeks of purchase. All returns must include the original receipt and are exchange only - we do not offer refunds.
Items purchased as Christmas gifts will be accepted for exchange only but must be returned prior to January 10 of the following year.
Seasonal-themed items are not returnable. This includes Christmas, Valentines Day, Easter, Halloween as well as spring, summer, autumn and winter specific merchandise (items with pumpkins, hearts, Santa, snowmen, etc)
SPECIAL ORDERS
Because we've had many people place special orders and never pick them up, all special orders will require a 50% non-refundable deposit.
